Wool Dynamics

Our "Wool Dynamics" programme is being run as a pilot programme in 2024 across selected architecture and product design schools - Ara, Massey, Victoria, Waikato, Otago Polytechnic and AUT.

In 2025, the programme will be rolled out to a number of tertiary institutions across the country, creating a clear roadmap for students who are keen to be part of the wool renaissance, make a positive impact on our planet using wool.

Learn more about our education strategy
With course content curated, written, sourced and produced by Professor Frances Joseph and Peter Heslop, learning about wool has never been more inspiring for tertiary students.

It has been a collaborative team effort with the involvement of many other talented people and even our Campaign for Wool supporters and partners were heavily involved.

Thank you to our pilot schools, and to all who have joined us on this journey.

Teaching Modules Overview

The course has been written in a modular format, so that tutors, lecturers and students can pick and choose relevant coursework to support and inspire their work in the architectural and product design space.

Our learning modules are presented with a voiceover, as well as downloadable format ensuring ultimate flexibility to learn visually or audibly.

Thanks to renowned videographer, Ben Cutore, there are six beautifully crafted Case Study videos from our Campaign for Wool supporters showcasing their innovations – Woolkin, Liz Mitchell Design, Lanaco, Terra Lana, T&R Interior Systems (Floc) and Barron Surfboards.
